Design and Layout options

When creating your App for the first time you are given some design options. Don’t worry they don’t have to be perfect now, you can always modify them later.

In the main menu, you can now navigate through all of the options to modify the look and functionality of your App.

Preview Pane

On all design tabs, there is a preview pane that allows you to view the changes to your App in real-time.
If you make a design change you can click the Save button to refresh your App and see the change.

You can view it on an iPhone or Android device directly on the browser.
Alternatively, you can scan a QR code to test the App on your own device.

There is also a screenshot button to share an image of your App.

Main Info

This contains two tabs:

About app – which contains the primary metadata for your app e.g. App Id, App Name etc.

Permissions – You can set these optional permissions so that they are requested on your users’ phones.

Design

This contains three tabs:

Template – Here you can add different layouts and adjust their look.

Drawer – If you added a layout with a drawer/tab/bar, on this tab you can change its options and also upload a background image, as well as an Icon for your App.

Styles – if there is any html you wish to exclude from your App, you can specify a div block from your website to be excluded.

Navigation

Here you add extra App functionality, to the layout style you added previously. You can add navigation and function buttons.

Main Navigation – You can add button(s) in your main navigation/layout to link to different pages on your website, or external pages, open the phone’s share tray, open the phone’s email app or open the phone’s default phone/calling app.

Bar Buttons – Add buttons to the Bars (if you’ve added any) – this is a great place to put a help/about icon.

Modal Navigation – This is a pop-out window that can contain the same type of link/interactions

Localization

Here you can change your App’s default navigation text, either localizing it for a different language or just making custom messages for your user.

You can also upload custom images for when your website is offline or in error.

Graphic Assets

On this menu, you can customise your background and upload your Logo and App Icon.

Push Setting

This menu allows you to add push notifications to your App

Download

Finally, the download page allows you to Build your App version and download it.
